We are a small farming company who produce slaughter free yarn from our rare breed pedigree border leicesters. Everything is produced in Yorkshire. We offer three weights of incredible yarn, plus amazing Tops for spinners, patterns, knitting kits and pattern books. Fleeces are also available.

At Farm Yarn UK our small flock of Romney's share our organic dairy farm with Montbeliarde cows, several beehives, hens, dogs & family. Our wool has exceptional qualities which we embrace in the development of our unique Yam Knitwear accessories and Farm Yarn UK woven produce. We forage along the banks of the river Eden for much of our natural dyes, but also use madder, cochineal, indigo & woad from sustainable sources.
