Stunning sculptures in local wool. Jade works from fleece to final product in our little Cumbrian Cottage. Each piece is unique and pure wool all the way through with nothing nasty in the middle. From landscape dolls to Christmas pixies, needle felted sheep to boho witches; Jade makes something for everyone. Last year she made whole families of fairies here in her little Cumbria Cottage and sent them flying off all over the world. Her work can now be found in luxury gift shops too.

At Home Farm we run a flock of over 500 rare breed Wensleydales and Bluefaced Leicester sheep, slaughter free, for wool.  Our wool is washed in Bradford (in its own batch) and spun in Leeds at a traditional worsted mill. We try to use every part of the sheeps fleece, so we are delighted to be offering for sale - raw fleece, washed fleece, dyed fleece, worsted spun wool and hand spun wool, milled dyed wool and hand dyed wool as well as some lovely complimentary patterns to complete a knitting kit, or your choice of wool and fleece to make your own garment.

Jaki also has kits for sale including: wabbit from hand spun yarn, fairisle cuffs and a Skpiton kep, Her hand dyed yarns are all locally sheered and spun Blue Face Leicester and Masham which Jaki over dyes to get some truly delicious colours, in 4ply, DK, roving and aran weights. Jakis' designs are simple but classy: knitted in 4 pieces, in the round bottom up and also top down.

Unique and individual project bags in a variety of shapes and sizes for knitters, crocheters and spinners - using a process similar to the photographic process of cyanotype, I use natural materials, leaves, flowers and found objects to create unique 'sun printed' fabric which is then used to make fun and quirky project bags and accessories. No two are the same!

I love knitting accessories and believe that one can never have too many stitch markers, so I also have a range of ring stitch markers in funky colours. I hand dye wool and hand spin yarn which I use in knitting, weaving and to make drum carded batts for spinners and felters.

We are a husband and wife team who design and make everything we sell. Paul knits the yarn and we make it into felt. I design and add the pictures using needle felting techniques. We then turn our designs into bags, pictures, sewing bags, glasses case etc. We also design and put together needle felting kits of our designs for people to try.  Our kits include everything you need to make a picture, bag, purse or tablet case. Lastly, we hand dye fibres which we use in our hand spun yarn and drum carded Batts.

The Knitting Companion are a new business who have designed a spiral bound A4 workbook to help to plan, record and design knitting projects. A travel version is also available in a kit comprising of an A5 Knitter's Companion, notions box, stickers, mini pencil and plastic popper wallet. We also sell stitch markers. We can custom build your Knitter's Companion to suit your needs, for example print on coloured paper for dyslexia. We are currently designing a Crocheter's Companion and are due to go to print in June 2018. An article has appeared in "Knitting" magazine, issue180 and we have been discussed on "Crafternoon Treats" podcast, episode 51. We are very proud of our Knitter's Companion and are keen to provide the best customer care that we can.

The Knitting Gift Shop is an online company run by Tricia and Ian Fothergill specialising in unique high quality gifts for knitters. They have their own range of natural undyed and dyed wool, knitting designs and knitting kits. Tricia designs all of the patterns and the wool is produced from fleece that they buy from farms throughout the UK and have spun for them in Yorkshire and Devon. Another large part of their business is their large range of wooden & ceramic yarn bowls and wooden yarn servers & swifts, all of which are produced locally for them in County Durham and Tyneside.
