Art-Felt Designs by Nanny Lynn

Lynn Massey is a fibre artist and textile designer, working from the raw fleece to the finished article. She specialises in hand made felt as well as hand dyed and spun Art yarns, using them in her own knitted and weaving which is done in Saori-Style. Her work is inspired by her life experiences, love of nature and spiritual beliefs. Lynn creates scarves, shawls, 3D bowls in felt and accessories.

Clothfelt

Needle felted brooches, sculptures and collectibles. Small selection of quality felting wools, needles and hand blended colours.

Coastal Colours

Hand dyed luxury knitting yarns in 4ply and lace weights using exotic fibres such as Alpaca, Yak, Silk, Cashmere and Camel, as well as Bluefaced Leicester and Merino. Our own blend of Alpaca Silk Cashmere tops for hand spinning in 5 natural colours and well as hand dyed. We are adding custom blends to our range of fibres and our latest is Merino Silk Yak which is proving popular in both dark and light versions.  We also have hand dyed tops using various wool and exotic fibre mixes. Also available are knitting patterns, knitting needles,  kits and handmade wooden lucets and buttons.

Dales Looms & Lakshmi Designs

Based in Harrogate, Lakshmi Designs, creators of uniquely exclusive hand woven, knitted and crocheted seasonal garments and accessories plus home décor throws and wall hangings. We also accept commissions. Dales Looms, The UK’s Leading maker of hardwood Peg and Pin Looms, weaving  frames and accessories for  the home crafter.  The only UK maker of Oak frame Tri and Hexagonal looms. Commissions undertaken to order.

Doulton Border Leicester Yarns

Small independent farm from North Yorkshire, who run a slaughter free flock of pedigree Border Leicesters, producing 100% pure, British Border Leicester, rare breed,Limited Edition, worsted spun yarn. We also produce and sell beautiful Border Leicester fleeces and Tops. Born, sheared, scoured and spun in Yorkshire.Made in Yorkshire. Watching our footprint!

Fabaazar

A kaleidoscope of colourful felt bags, hats, purses and jewellery;  natural semi-felted wool village rugs from Nepal; hand spun and knitted Alpaca wool bags from Ecuador; jute, cotton, silks and a wide range of sumptous textiles; hand felted flower garlands, felt cushion covers, block printed cotton coats & jackets, kurtas & shirts from Rajasthan.

Fire and Fibre

Manufacturers of simple wooden equipment including peglooms, lateral and pin looms, corkwork bobbins, flower winders, lucets, drop spindles, weaving sticks. Goods made on the equipment - rugs, bags, hangings. Ashford dealers. Felting supplies and equipment. Demonstrations on the stall all day.

Brilliant and beautiful, hand-dyed British wool - fibre and fleece and yarn - in colours inspired by landscapes and legends. All my dyeing is done with a care both for the environment and to keep the wool in the best possible condition.

Hannalin Crafts

Hand spun and woven local fleece into throws, jumpers, bags, socks, hats scarves etc.

Hawkshaw Sheep

Hawkshaw Sheep produce bespoke limited edition natural coloured undyed yarns and Tweed cloth, all with full provenance. The colours or the yarns perfectly reflect the colours of Mother Nature, the peat, Autumn hues, swirling mists and frosty mornings.

Home Farm Wensleydales

At Home Farm we run a flock of over 500 rare breed Wensleydales and Bluefaced Leicester sheep, slaughter free, for wool.  Our wool is washed in Bradford (in its own batch) and spun in Leeds at a traditional worsted mill. We try to use every part of the sheeps fleece, so we are delighted to be offering for sale - raw fleece, washed fleece, dyed fleece, worsted spun wool and hand spun wool, milled dyed wool and hand dyed wool as well as some lovely complimentary patterns to complete a knitting kit, or your choice of wool and fleece to make your own garment.

Little Gem Felts

We are a husband and wife team who design and make everything we sell. Paul knits the yarn and we make it into felt. I design and add the pictures using needle felting techniques. We then turn our designs into bags, pictures, sewing bags, glasses case etc. We also design and put together needle felting kits of our designs for people to try.  Our kits include everything you need to make a picture, bag, purse or tablet case. Lastly, we hand dye fibres which we use in our hand spun yarn and drum carded Batts.

SAORImor Freestyle Weaving for Everyone. Classes, talks and Demos. No rules, no mistakes just enjoy playing with colour and texture to make your own one-of-a-kind textile. Come and try a SAORI loom on our stand. We have SAORI equipment, books, exclusive ready-made warps and yarns. Also some SAORI woven clothing and gifts.

Skybluepink Designs

Hand spinner of beautiful yarns, all from natural fibres, mostly British Wools and from many different breeds of sheep, in natural and stunning exclusively designed colours, knitting and crochet patterns by Jennie Howes, spinning and felting fibres.  Needles, hooks, bright and cheerful wooden buttons.  Hand woven rugs and throws made from pure wool.

Solway Woolscapes

Needle felted landscapes. felting kits, hand dyed fleece for needle felting and felting needles. Needle felting demonstrations at the stand each day.

St John’s Hospice

An extensive range of Christmas gifts, Christmas cards, locally produced preserves and more! All proceeds to St John’s Hospice, providing outstanding specialist palliative care to people with life-limiting conditions in South Cumbria, North Lancashire and parts of North Yorkshire.

The Knitting Gift Shop

The Knitting Gift Shop is an online company run by Tricia and Ian Fothergill specialising in unique high quality gifts for knitters. They have their own range of natural undyed and dyed wool, knitting designs and knitting kits. Tricia designs all of the patterns and the wool is produced from fleece that they buy from farms throughout the UK and have spun for them in Yorkshire and Devon. Another large part of their business is their large range of wooden & ceramic yarn bowls and wooden yarn servers & swifts, all of which are produced locally for them in County Durham and Tyneside. They also sell a large range of knitting accessories and gifts including a large selection of wooden needle gauges,and metal shawl pins & brooches.

The Threshing Barn

An Aladdin’s cave of delights for spinners, weavers, felt makers, rag rug makers, knitters and textile artists. Craft tools, equipment, materials, books, magazines, buttons, yarns, dyes and a selection of our craft kits. New this year is our collection of Yorkshire Wools from local farms, processed and dyed by us from our workshop in Swaledale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

The Woolly Tangle

The Woolly Tangle is all about knitted things and things for yarn lovers. Project bags, stitch markers for knitting and crochet, knitting patterns and kits, all designed to be functional and beautiful. Now based in North Wales, nature is the biggest inspiration for all my patterns. Blending natural shapes and natural fibres with easy to follow stitches helps you to create something gorgeous.

Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Shop

Pure Wensleydale Wool in Aran, DK and 4ply worsted spun, dyed and balled in Yorkshire by master craftsmen of the woollen industry.  Combed tops and fleeces, garments, patterns and notions.

Willo Fibres

We will have for sale the a selection of Natural Dyes, a variety of tops in the following - various plant fibres, some native breed sheep, merino blends, silk, alpaca & llama, some of our tops are hand dyed. Along with Drop spindles, large and small yarn bowls and fused glass sheep themed coasters which make ideal presents for your fibre/yarn friend(s)

Wools of Cumbria Carpets

Beautiful natural and over-dyed Cumbrian wool carpets, rugs and underlay made from Rough Fell, Swaledale and Herdwick sheep - all produced in small mills in the North of England.
